Title: TD Clutch price
Post by: gsxmax1 on 28 December 2010, 19:05:49
Having chipped my 2.5td manual estate the clutch has started slipping with in gear accleration (well it does have 145k on the clock).

as the main dealer wants £650+ to change, what sort of price should i expect to pay to get it changed?

are any of these "specialist" companies worth a try?

all info gratefully received.

The clutch kits themselves are just over £200 + VAT and that is the trade price I get.

Ignore the specialist companies, they are all pretty much useless. Bring it to me and I'll do it for you :y

Does that include the slave cylinder or just the bearing ring Pete?
