Hi All,
I havn't been using my car much during the recent cold spell and the other day started up and left it running for a bit, when I backed out of the drive there was a small pool of 'mayo' on the ground.
The engine is running fine, dosn't overheat and the oil and coolant are clean. I had a look underneath today and there is a watery oil mixture running down the back of the engine and drips down by the oil filter....
It's just done over 200000 miles and has fairly good service history and I changed the coolant about 3 months ago.
I'm wondering if it's the oil cooler leaking? Any advice much appreciated and thanks in advance! :y

I would expect to see oil in the expansion bottle/header tank if the oil cooler was leaking.

Could be as simple as both the HBV and cam covers leaking in the same area. Could be the oil cooler but unusual for them to leak externally.

Thanks for the replies.
I forgot to mention earlier that when I was poking about I checked the breather pipes and they were clear, but had some 'mayo' in them.... The camcover gaskets were done about 10000 miles ago, but to be honest I havn't checked if they are leaking.
The coolant has gone down abit recently, but also the scuttle tray isn't watertight and the foam is very wet (Been meaning to....Doh!!) probably from all the snow melt....
Doesn't explain the 'mayo' though.... :-/
