Title: Bilstein B4 rear shocks , saloon. Part no.
Post by: Varche on 03 January 2011, 15:32:46
I have decided to bite the bullet and get a pair for the project car. The self levelling rear sensor has gone.

Am I right in thinking that the part number for my 97 saloon rears is BNE-2861?

Unless anyone knows a cheaper place, I'll get them from Balance motorsport(pair is £82 plus PandP) as they do foreign postage.

Well that is rich. I can't "find" BNE 2861 on balance motorsports website anymore, it was there pre Xmas. I wonder if new year not stocking em anymore as old cars now!! GULP

Any other websites suggestions gratefully received.?

EDIT. Done it now. What a PALAVER.

2nd Edit!  Yes it is a poor website design and |I said so in "how do you rate us" !!.

Yes it is.... Go to the home page, click the Bilstein link top left, select B4, then use the drop down list just under the 'I don't know the part number' link. They are in there :y

That price seems very reasonable.
I paid mine around 120 pounds from a local Opel dealer when I changed them a year ago
