hi all

im sure ive seen one but cant seem to find one :-(
im after a step by step guide on how to change the head gasket on my 2002 2.2 16v

There isn't one yet. I've got one to do in a couple of weeks though so was intending doing one. Do you want talking through it?

hopefully im going to start it today ,still waiting for the postman to bring the cam locking tool (should be today)

and the hg and bolts

but i was thinking i could remove everything else i can before the cams to when it arrives im already to crack straight on

i assume if i take manifold etc off,and line up the crank to its marker ? (i assume theres a marker on the crank pullie/casing)

then it will just be waiting for the postman lol

i have a valve compresser ,so do you think once head off i may as well do the oil steam seals,clean vaulves etc?

nice one i will make sure i  do there then,i assume i just need to grind the valves back in like normal?

any thing else while the heads off ?
