Title: am i being thick?????

hi everyone

right im in the process of doing the hg
ive took all the ancillarys off the engine (and extra lol for easier access)

ive set up the timming,ie all markers where they should be

BUT im still waiting for my CAM LOCKING TOOL to arrive !!!

thing is am i being thick or what? seeing the heads coming off,cams out so i can do the oil stem seals etc

do i need to wait for the locking tool???? as the timmings going to get messed up any way and will need setting up again ????

also is there anything special i need to do in relation to the auto gearbox????? ie put it in netural,park etc ?

As you suspect, you only need the locking kit for assembly.
Nothing special needs to be done withthe gearbox, just disconnect the battery.  :y

i think i drank to much last night pmsl my brain not working this morning lol,but def thought it was worth asking the question ,better to be safe than sorry lol
