Title: heaters not hot

hi all,i have a 2001 3.0 elite.heaters wont blow hot,checked pipes to matrix on hot one cold.flushed matrix still the same.any ideas it could be anything else but matrix?thanks

Remove & plug vac hose on top of HBV and see if you get heat then

hi rob ive tried that and still same.also tried flushing matrix out.wondering possible air lock?just trying things before i go and try new matrix

You need to flush the matrix both ways several times. If you connect a piece of hose to each pipe in the engine bay can you blow through one and get air through?

both pipes to matrix are hot now but still no heat.took vacum pipe off heater valve still nowt.doesnt seem to be much if any vacum from pipe?

Hi had this problem on a 2lt have you checked your thermastat, if it ok then it could be your water pump. as it was the later on mine .

Hi everyone,

I have a similar problem with my car although i am getting hot air in to bak of car just not the front. Anyone know what i should check or do?

have not tried thermo yet but car seems to running at about 80 85 which i think may be bit below but i thought it would run less if it was thermo?

Unlikely. If this has failed you will overheat big-time. :y

someone said possible heater ucu???anyone had this problem before?
