You will need to get it on a code reader Im afraid to see what the problem is.
you can try the pedal trick for code reading, but dont hold much hope, very very rare for it to work.

Where are you, someone local may be able to help out.

You're not far from me ;) and I'll be passing you in the morning on my way up to Lincoln. Unless you fancy a run over to Dudley today?

You can't pedal trick the 2.2's unfortunately :(

Stopped off this morning on my way up to Lincoln. Very spluttery when fired up to take it out of the garage. Codes came up as:-

P0420 we all know that one (not present)
P1555 TPS (not present)

Cleared them both off and no codes returned.

Looking at the gunk around the throttle body the breathers have never been cleaned so my best advice for the moment is to follow this guide:-

As for the pre-cat issue I've advised to use a couple of tanks of higher ocatne (non-supermarket) fuel and see if it returns. If it does then we'll be looking at either replacement cats (2nd hand) or moving the pre-cat lambda.

Very nice to meet you today Ray and Mrs Glide :y
