I need an LPGA approved installer, to certify my gas conversion.
Any ideas of any good ones who will certify DIY?
I don't mind travelling a little further if needsbe...

does it have to be certified if you have fitted your self james ?? :-/

Jeremy said he'd be happy to certify - not ideally located though.
In addition, I was reading the regs the other day and current requirements are that you have an electrically operated gas valve on the LPG tank - so that may mean a new valve in that tank of yours. :-/

I have yet to see one that doesn't, so I'd be surprised if yours doesn't. Usually it's just a solenoid that is normally closed in the absense of power. When the system fires up it opens to allow the fuel out. Most systems have three -- one on the tank, one on the filter (if fitted) in the engine compartment, and one on the vapouriser. Prevents any significant quantity of fuel escaping in the event of a crash etc (the system will cut power to the solenoids as soon as the engine stops turning).
Even some proper bodge jobs I've seen have had these solenoids.

James' tank was second hand though, predating this particular rule I would imagine. It only has a manual valve on the tank and a solenoid valve on the vapouriser.
