Whilst doing the heater matrix flush today, I found a pipe just hanging around at the back of the engine, only connected at one end, but it was just out of reach at the back of the top of the engine. From the way it was able to be moved around, it seems it was connected to another pipe or something not fixed rigid. The other end, which I found, wasn't connected to anything. Pipe was maybe 1/4 inch diameter.
Is this anything I should be concerned about?
Thanks in advance.

If yours is an Auto box it is probably the auto box breather, should be clipped up at the back of the engine with the open end down to prevent water ingress, but is not actualy connected at the open end.
If yours is a funny car with more pedals than you have feet ... no idea ... :)

My internal calibrator suggests quarter inch might be a fraction small, iirc the auto box breather is something I'n the order of 10/12mill ish, but yes that's the only loose pipe at the back of the engine on autos.
All the other pipes back there are vacuum related to the heater and are plastic about 3 mill diameter into rubber elbow joints about
6 mill.
I notice you also have a heater problem thread running. So if it's not the breather, could it be a vac pipe to the bulk head?
