Title: Air Conditioning problem......help
Post by: robles on 21 January 2011, 18:39:29
Despite air conditioning system on auto, car steams up throughout in cold weather.  Moisture being sucked in but from where?  A latter day problem only.  Vents appear clear and no external blockages apparent.  Any body out there throw any light on this annoying and dangerous fault?

mine was doing this, changed the pollen filter as it was black and cleaned out the two drainage holes in the scuttle panel, that seems to have fixed the problem

as your car is a facelift it should be fitted with a charcoal pollen filter which is already black  ;)  ;)  ;)

Yeah I was given a white one by my local motor factors, they checked it on their system. I wasn't aware it used a charcoal one. Looks like I'll be paying them a visit tomorrow
