WOW did you see how clean the V6 engine was that they took out.

hang on that must be a promo shot of the V6 engine as the header tank on the V8 one is black unless they sprayed it afterwards

Why, to look at it? How could any of us pay the petrol bill for something like that?  :o

I browsed some Monaro forums once... they are not too bad!!

On a motorway run it can get 25mpg+, tend to average 17-21 though on usual runs.

Not far off Omega  ;)

I currently fill the tank on my Omega twice a month!

The holden 'omegas' I drove abroad are all V8 and I was lead to believe its the omega chassis.

Is this true?

The holden commadore is Omega chassis but a tad wider i think.

American Catera's are exactly the same i think!

Oh very nice indeed :y, so who's gonna try it out here in the UK first then ::)

Let me see.. We need someone with a V6 Omega with an engine that's seen better days, perhaps with noisy lifters and rusty cams.... ::)

 :) :) :)

I think the handling could be off, might need to change the 1 air shock and 1 stanard shock on the back for something better.

If we can source a V8, with a manual box for around 1k.... i might very well do it!

I like the additional oil pressure gauge and the voltmeter in the MID's place, but sadly it a LHD instrument panel so not transferable to the UK meega...

Looking at that Catera at the start of the post....yes it is a cracking car as in engine and performance...........but my babe looks just as good, stick an irmscher kit on it as Mike Dundee has and i think there is nothing to beat the looks, be it holden or Catera.
