[size=12]Going to do a top end rebuild on my MV6, basically HG and fit a new oil cooler, what parts will I need and wheres best to get them from?
Heard I am better off getting a new type oil cooler rather than the old one, mine is a T reg preface manual
Thanks all :)

Head gasket set for both banks
Head bolts
Induction Seals (if they are not in the above sets)
Exhaust manifold Studs (might as well as some will/are broken)
Manifold to down pipe studs ( they have a habit of breaking)
Timing Belt Kit + DVD + Locking Kit
Water Pump
Might as well fit a new stat while its easy to get to
Cam cover gasket. If you use pattern head sets the cam cover gaskets will be crap.
HBV if there is any sign of leaking
ECU Temp Sensor and gauge sensor while they are easy to get to
Antifreeze
Oil
Oil Filter
Set of plugs
Oil Cooler kit
Should cover any problem you may face

I would add to the above, replacement banjo bolts for the oil cooler. (its not part of the kit) I've had one shear, was lucky to get it out. For minimal cost, you feel a lot safer when wacking up that torque wrench :y

Thanks guys :)
Plus if anyone knows good places to buy this stuff from, found a HG kit on ebay

Seems to include most of the bits
Remember rebuilding my old 2.5 GSi Vectra engine... Nightmare lol

depends on what you want to spend. I can supply everything on the list @ trade or trade club prices but it won't be as cheap as some of the stuff available on ebay.
All i would say is buy the best you can afford not the cheapest parts listed
Cheers
