Hey guys, I'm mostly looking for confirmation with this one. For the past few weeks I've had a lot of "roughness" through the clutch pedal, yesterday this escalated into a high pitched squeal when depressing the clutch, an increase in roughness, and an increase in weight of the clutch action and the clutch pedal staying down when depressed too far, although it can be dragged up with my toe, although this doesn't slways engage the clutch. Best case slave cylinder, worst case whole kit and caboodle? >:( :'( :(

Sounds more like Hydraulic related to me, although it could be worse, so I'd start by checking for leaks :y

Maybe the bearing has gone with the squeeling noise?

Sounds light thrust bearing.
If you are doing that you may as well put a new clutch in while it's stripped down.....

My thoughts were running towards the thrust bearing too, got the impression it had packed up and was welding itself to the spring plate. Problem is with the clutch and slave cylinder plus the other stuff it needs, added to the parts its going to need for the mot the bill is heading towards £700. Can't afford it at the moment and not sure its worth it tbh. :'(
