Title: What tyre size do you run on 19" wheels
Post by: kingycos2 on 19 February 2011, 10:56:49
Guys, my 2002 3.2 elite currently sits on 19" Vauxhall snowflakes. I need to change all 4 tyres soon, but I'm contemplating on what size to get. My fronts are 225/35/19 with no spacers and the rears are 255/35/19. I really want 40 profile for extra protection, do you think they will fit on the rear? I'm sure they wont fit on the front without spacers tho. Any thought or advise on what tyre size everyone else runs would be appreciated.   :y  :y

I'm pretty sure there aren't any suitable 19" tyres for Omega B, but will checkit out at the earliest opportunity for you.

225/35x19 is just about right for rolling diameter
255/35x19 is way too large diameter
225/40x19 is way too large too, and is the smallest 19" 40-profile tyre

I've just ordered 2 Mitchelin pilot sports in 235/35/19 for the rear and 225/35/19 for the front.
