Title: rear view mirror

sorry to post such a simple thing but I have had my windscreen removed and resealed but they did not replace the mirror. I have tried but dont want to damage something the plastic part is on the screen but I dont seem to be able to clip the mirror on. I assume that the pointed end is at the bottom and the squarrer end with the cut out at the top. Any tips for fitting.

Mirror should fit on mount by sliding up towards headlining

As he said. the bottom end is rounded, the top end flat (facelift) and just slides up the runners towards roof lining??

Thanks I did it eventually I had to reshape the spring retainer it must have been damaged on removal
