My car is all over the place, always correcting the wheel to keep in a straight line and fast corners are scary. My question is if the front wishbones are replaced which appears to be the cause does the tracking need to be redone, car actually runs true on straight road and tyre wear is fine, track rods have no movement either. I had it aligned about 6 months ago and dont really want to have to do it again unless I have to.
Thanks in advance.

If you chage the wiahbones then it is strongley advised to have a FULL Geometry check done not just tracking as you will have altered the camber setup. :y

Thanks Dave in that case then will get the track rods done at the same time not worth mucking about when its in bits anyway.

Yes!
See the guide and faq sections, this is possibly the most covered topic on oof, google is also your friend.
But to add, tracking is a fraction of the omegas adjustment, it will need full geometric set up for toe(tracking) camber and caster angle which was probably out from the factory tbh.
Also rear camber and toe should be set for best results.

drop links could be worn too,my garage did both to mine, then i took it to be all trued up,and now limo-esque!!

Drop links dont affect set up. But wheels in motion do recomend set up once a year.

Andrew. Might be worth checking the steering idler while you are at it.

Funny you should say that about the steering idler was going to do that as well, list is:
Track rods inner and outer
Steering idler
Wishbones
Anti roll bar drop links
Front anti roll bar bushes.
One other question, anything on the rear I need to worry about, got no clonks but found that does not mean a lot because havent got any noises from the front but obviously an issue. Car has done 36000 miles so far in its life.
Thanks
