I get on quite well with my neighbour but earlier today i ask him if he could cut back one of his plants in his garden, its a tall greeny, yellow thing and it is next to my fence.
I went out this morning and due to the winds we have had, this plant has shed all its very tiny yellow pettles all over my rather miggy, its happened a few times, but this morning the car was covered, all my water run offs were blocked, the pettles had stuck to the paint work, what a rather mess..........now i aint one to fly off the handle ;D ;D but when he gave me a bit of verbal because i asked him to cut it back i went on one >:( >:( >:(........basically he has till the weekend to sort it or i will be cutting it back and throwing the stems over his fence

Get a bit of Parafin around the roots, that should sort the problem out ::)

this subject was a fight reason between more than 3
couple neighbours here..
So
stay calm..Ask him to do it more than once and try to convince them.
if not, do it when they are not at home silently and dont throw any
stuff in their garden because they will accept this as a declaration of
war..And behave them nice ;)

I am led to belive that if i put the stems in his garden he cannot attempt to prosicute me as i would have give him them back :question :question..i will chat to him again before i do any cutting..but i will not stand for the car being covered in these rather things.

Not so sure about Englandshire but my understanding up this neck of the woods is (please check before doing) that if its on your side of the fence, its yours.
Can really hack the owner off if he ends up with an apple tree shaped like a cheese wedge approximately 25 foot tall.........

You are allowed to trim any overhang on your side of the fence so long as you give him the cut offs back ;)

yeah, i understood (maybe misunderstood) that if the branches are over your garden and the trunk/root is in theirs, you can cut it and throw the off cuts over.
Not sure what happens if it dies as a result of your "trimming" though!
oh yeah, and dont hold me to that one!
