Title: no spark 3 and 4 suddenly

parked the car after work wednesday morning and it ran fine its not been used since then. Went to use it to go to work tonight and it was running rough so used the other car. My mate has had a look at it and theres no spark fron cylinders 3 and 4. Any ideas what this could be? Doubt its the leads. Dont think 2 leads would fail at the same time.

Sounds like your DIS pack is fooked, not that expensive but an absolute tw*t of a job to do :'(

I aren't saying it isnt your dispack, but as a rule if two go down it would be say 1 & 4, 2 & 5 or 3 & 6.

I would check your leads, plugs and dispack if I were you  :y

You can Bosch Dispacks of Fleabay for around £80. Cheaper ones about £40. Genuine Vx one about £160

Have you checked there's no oil or water in the plug wells? :-/ Also worth checking all leads & plugs are a tight fit?  :y

am sure theres no oil or water. The cam cover gaskets were done 150miles ago and it gen ones a used. Just stumped how it was running good and them after a day parked start it and its goosed

turns out its no spark from 3 and 6. If a cant get one from someone on here are the cheap ebay ones any good and do the 2.5 ones fit and work on the 3.0 ?

I will find you a link for the guy on fleabay I have used for Dispacks when people don't want to pay £80 or £160.

Before ordering a dispack check the shape of the connector on yours first, you say yours is a 1996 so it could be different, but this seller sells them. :y

It seems you are running two threads about the same thing mate which is getting a little confusing . .
Like i said that guy sells brand new ones with both oval and rectangle plugs.  :y

I have a good bosch rectangle plug one here if you want it,

Very early vertical one that one - 90444184.

Not so easy to source these days, might have a good one in the garage
