Title: 2.5v6 cd estate auto petrol

started to run rough today, thought was exhaust, sounded like it blowing, rough to pick up speed, seems to smell of petrol a bit, did paper clip test, with engine running shows fault code 73. mass air flow sensor i believe. could it be anything else. please can anyone help

Smell of petrol? Sounds like a misfire to me. Check ignition components are all in good order...

thanks for that. going in to garage tomorrow. will get them to check leads plugs etc

thanks..garage says lead or coil pack..but think lead...
