Title: Alloy wheels

Are the bolts used to fit GM alloy wheels the same as the ones used on the poverty spec steel wheels ? or are they longer ?

If they were not the same everytime you had a puncture and needed to put on the spare steel wheel you would have to use different bolts.  :D

I was just curious as i found a set in my shed and they're about 1/4" longer than the ones on the car  :y

if youve got a pants merc you have to use shorter wheel nuts.when i had my e class had to change the wheel and didnt have the shorter nuts or even know.changed the wheel and went to drive away and it wouldnt move.and that was at 2 in the morning on the m25.not happy.that was the worse car i ever owned.total pile of crap

I had a E class merc same problem. I prefer my mig just as well made.
