Title: Bump strip removal (facelift)
Post by: albitz on 10 March 2011, 21:15:04
How do I remove them please ? Is it just a matter of knocking it towards the rear with a rubber mallet, or am I missing something?  :-/

Started yesterday - removed doorcard etc, but didnt get any further as my back was in agony from climbing through next doors bedroom window - at the request of the young lady who lives there.

You have to bend the edge of the strip out a bit because the section that the screw screws into is raised and fits into a hole in the door ;)
