Title: Tracking on Omega-Are they a pain or easy to fix ?

Hi all,
I have a 2000 V plate 2.5 V6 CDX that I have had from new (still only got 54k on clock  :D ) and am convinced the tracking is out.  I have cast my eye down the side of both sides of the car, and got my laser spirit level out  :-/  and have come to the conclusion it is definitely toeing out (small wear on inside of front tyres).
I am convinced that the tracking (for my Omega at least) has in fact never been right and I have read a few places that they were difficult to get right.
Are they problematic? and more importantly are there any places anybody would recommend I could perhaps take mine (in the North West / and Wirral area) to be check and hopefully set correctly.
Any advice gratefully received.

You need "wheels in motion" or one there agents, migs are fussy on the camber settings more so than tracking

yep,  you need a set up by WIM  or similar.

with Omegas it's not just the front wheels it's also the rear !

Get it done & i'm sure it will transform the drive of your miggy.

can't recommend anywhere in your area , but someone on here will  ;D

The aspect which seems to cause most inner edge wear is too much camber of the front wheels.

The stub axles are bolted to the macpherson struts with two bolts. The top bolt is in an elongated hole which allows quite a large range of adjustment.

The lower wishbone bushes go soft which also allow the camber to increase.

If you do take your car to WIM they won't just adjust the obvious threaded adjusters. If necessary they will loosen the bolts holding the subframe in place and move that around to get things symmetrical.

But if your wishbones are goosed then all bets are off and they will tell you to go and get them fixed before doing anything ;)
