What age is the car?

Do you have the car-pass? (a piece of paper size of a credit card with cars details on it, radio code ect)

Sorry guys for getting back so late, i am new to these forums, answer to the first reply is that i have the carpass, and i have contacted Martin Imber for the fob thing, but i have been told by tech guys that i will still have to get it reprogrammed by a tech2 guy at a cost of £35 because there is only a window of about 5 minutes between resynces, and when i checked some garages they have told me it must be Tech1 as the car is a 2000, reg omega v6 2.5 petrol.and that tech2 does not have the right software

You're getting some duff info.  ;) Your fob will always be "Tech II'd" to your car. If you get Martin to fix your fob, the most you'll have to do is sync it to your car by pressing lock when the ignition is on. As your car is a 2000 it will only talk to a Tech II.. Tech I is only for very early cars.
