Post by: Nathan on 14 March 2011, 18:59:49
Hi Guys,

i run a 3.2 Elite Facelift and have had it serviced etc through vauxhall previously and with the car coming up for 10 years of age i'm looking for someone decent to look after her

Im in Northwood just outside Watford in Hertfordshire

List of jobs to be done July

Cambelt/tensioners + Waterpump

Rocker Gaskets

Full Service

The car is a 2001 model with 88,000 the cambelt was last changed at 68,000 in 2009

you wont be short of help from people on here!

these people will charge competitive prices, and in many cases much less, and the work will be done much better than vauxhall dealers will ever do

if the waterpump was done with the 68k cambelt in 2009, you dont need it doing next time round unless you personally want it doing, but if your mileage is regular, it only needs it in 2013 at 108k

There's probably another two years and 20000 miles left in your cambelt yet mate

As already said above  :-[

Cam cover gaskets are covered in the guide section if you fancy?

Only use genuine GM gaskets from a dealer btw. Not particularly cheap, but copies won't last 3months.

We saved you a few quid already by the sound of it  :y
