to pass M.O.T. on 2.5 V6 Auto
As a rough guide only, what sort of time (and therefore cost) labour wise would it take to replace both wishbones (although its actually only the brushes but they can be fiddly to replace so I'm told) and a steering idler ?
I can source the parts but labour for the job is an unknown quantity so any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks :y

Depends how easy they come apart and go back together again but I would say 3 hours tops ;)

Steering idler is fairly simple job, probably 45 mins.

Wishbones took me about 4 hours, but half of that was jacking, blocking and grovelling. If you have a pit it is much easier. Recommended on here to only use OE wishbones (or Lemforder, which are claimed to be OE) I fitted a pair of Delphi's about a 15 months ago, and the front bushes are already shot, so I have put Powerflex in, which has really tightened it up nicely. :y
