How do I know if my 2001 3.2 Elite saloon has a sports lowered chassis? I am about to buy new dampers front and rear (and whatever else). Doing this because the square speed humps are ripping the exhaust off if I straddle them. Our local council have stopped filling pot holes and are instead install speed humps.

Elite should be self-levelling suspension. Check rear shocks for an airline connection. Only MV6 had sports suspension as standard.

Thanks Rob, yes mine has self levelling suspension so I now know not to buy LSC items.

-
But there were some cars with an identity crisis around 2001 or so... Best bet would be a polite PM to Jimbob with your Reg Number asking him to check the database :y

Let me have your reg number and i'll tell you what it left Russelsheim with.

Oh and at the moment there is an extra 10% off TC prices on Disc Kits, Shocks and springs.

But i've not been given the green light to post that yet...............oppps :)

Yours is not Lowered sports chassis  :y

I thought the same when I had the trade club flyer - just fitted new shocks and springs all round!  Sods law

If they are Trade club parts then yes they are covered, aslo 20% extra off exhaust as well
