				1)
Is there a way to improve engine plenum on a omega 3.0 v6?
Someone has told me fitting a Saab 3.0v6 Plenum will help increase performance.
(or would a Vectra one be better or any other?)

 2)
Also, Would forcing the multi ram to stay open (but clipping it open) increase performance.
 or
Would by-passing the Muliram system and connecting the throttle body via a pipe to the air box increase performance?

				1) I think you'll find they're the same ;) ;)

 2) Don't you think that Vauxhall would have done that to start with if it was better ::) ::)

Is the 3.2 plenum any bigger/longer/better than the 3.0 or are they identical ? :-/

I think the fixing points for the cable throttle & DBW are actually the same ................ I was being pedantic  :y ;) ;)

Ultimately Raj needs to accept that he drives a 1700kg car that is never ever going to be a sports car!  ;) ;) ;) ;) :y even if it does have a spare pedal  ::)

Indeed... If he wants to make it quicker, start with weight loss ;) ;)

Both the 2.5 Vectra and the 3.2 Vectra have different plenums to their Omega counterparts, though on the Vectra, this is a compromise for space reasons.

I put my mig on a weighbridge today, no load in the car but 3/4 full of go juice, it tipped the scales at 1860 kg :D,no wonder it likes a drink :'(

raj make up a new direct air flow path like a mantzel resonator , i did to mine made a great difference , alto no one on here will agree with me because they like slow slosshy migs , vauxhall never intended the majority of things that people modify on cars , also cut the cats out of it , another nice gain , also i put on a light weight flywheel and that has made the best difference of all , it revs no bother now up threw all the gears , totally different to drive now much more acceleration out of it , next im going putting the mig on a diet and losin some weight , go for it m8 im sure vauxhall didnt intend what i did but they really should have lol

Have you taken your car for an MOT since removing the cats?? What did you replace the cats with?? My understanding is that a car that was made with cats...must have cats or it will fail the MOT??

I think its car made after a certain year (1994 ?) have a certain limit on emmissions, and that is achieved by fitting cats. The Senny had cats, but afaik there was nothing to stop you removing them.
An Omega would be a different story though. ;)

K reg onwards ie 1992 and as they made a Senator up to M reg it means that late Senators needed their cats fitted at least once a year for MOT.  ;) ;) ;)

I tried my best to rid my K reg 92 Senator of its cats legally, but  failed. I still have a pair of cat pipes in my garage ............ just incase.  :y :y :y

Hang on to them for when you get your next Senny.Or I might buy them off you when I get mine. :y ;D

If your taking the cats of a petrol motor make sure you have a friendly MOT Tester ;)

Yep, not a chance of it passing the emissions test without them (and these days they don't sap a lot of power).
