Hi ,
I am having a problem with the temperiture not regulating in the car. The only way that i can stop the temp rising is to turn the heating on full and wind the windows down. This has all happened since a service 2 weeks ago when the coolant was flushed through. I think that i may have an air lock but don't know how to rectify this. Can you help?

if you have an airlock then you should run car with coolant expansion tank cap off and "burp" the hoses i.e squeeze them until you get the air out, also put heating on full :y
or you might have a blockage :(

Thx will give it a try :)

The Omega cooling system is self bleeding and will not have any effect by Burping the hoses. Check the fan switch on the radiator, these have a habit of going open circuit. Do the fans cut in at the correct temp and when it gets close to 98 does the fan speed increase as it gets hotter?, if not check the fuses in the fuse box next to the battery. there is a large fuse in there that controls the fans and maybe blown.
Then, if yu can not find any blown fuses chec that the fans actually work by running a feed to the fans directly and if they run go back to the fan switch. Top switch on the rad is for the coolant temp and the bottom one is to switch the fan for the aircon side.
Hope that is of some help. :y
