Hi, welcome to the forum.
If the EML is on there is a fault. You need to identify the fault & fix it.  ;)

Have a look here ..... http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1189022687
and go from there.  :y

if you have an 'eco' button I'd say you have air conditioning  ;) ;) ;)
Look for the compressor under the bonnet ........ I can't give you a clue as I've never owned a 4 pot.  ;) :y

Given the codes and the symptoms, cam sensor needs replacing. Geuine GM one needed. If you're near me, pop it over and I will show you.

I suspect it *may* need crank sensor at some point, but lets do one thing at a time :y

Same place as the abnormal engines  ....

Mine IS the normal engine. The rule when buying ANY car is that is must have more cylinders than doors!  ;) ;) ;) ;)

Even her Smart conforms to the rule!  :y :y :y

Bit too far for me ;D. Follow this guide, ignore picture 6, your "Ecotec" strip just unclips.

As said, you need to fix the fault & then the EML will go away by itself.  :y

All rules have their exceptions ..............  ;) besides, a 6 door Omega has 'stretched saloon' on the V5. The last British 'limousine' was the DS420
