Title: wing removal

hello wanting to remove wing from facelift model, is it the same as on preface as i haynes manuel for the preface?

just so i'm not looking for hidden bolts anywhere, cheers dave.

Exactly the same. It can be done without taking the front bumper off but it's tight.

2 torx screws attaching the arch liner to the front bumper need to come out, then the arch liner. 3 x 10mm bolts holding the black bumper retainer then the 2 x 10mm bolts behind that. Line of bolts across the top (8 IIRC and all 10mm). Then 2 x 10mm bolts behind the sill cover, 1 x 10mm bolt at the top hinge edge from the door side and 1 x 10mm bolt about halfway up the hinge edge from inside the wheel arch. And it's off ;)

As a matter of interest will a facelift model front wing fit directly onto a pre-facelift model with no problems?

................apart from the wing moulding ;) :P

the moulding is an accessory  ;) ;) ;)

So in effect you could pretty much straight swop mini facelift for a facelift front  :-? Coooool  : :D
