My climate used to work great up until i had an air lock and burst pipe following a coolant change, since then i get cold air when the climate is set lower than actual temp but as soon as i put it to 28 for example the blowers almost stop with a slight cold breeze (set to auto and manually). But have perfect heat when set to HI. Could this be a prob with HBV? Or something else?
Thanks in advance

Do a reset on the climate fan servos and see if that sorts it out .

the only thing that could really go wrong with the HBV (unless someone's connected the coolant pipes wrong) would result in no heat ever.
the HBV is only there to shut off coolant flow to the heater matrix when you have both temp dials set to min and aircon running.

If the reset doesn't cure it it sounds like the sampling fan has failed, IMHO.

could be...
if you put a small piece of tissue on the climate panel sample vent, has the fan power enough to hold it in place? (it should have)

where is the sampling fan ? :-/

Good question Albs!
There is a little hedgehog looking thing behind the glovebox that controls temp...may need replacing...there is one for sale in the for sale section if needed...tbh I still dont have a clue where it goes exactly, just what it looks like lol

where is the sampling fan ? :-/
sampling fan is central in the climate panel, iirc between the 2 centre controls
its just behind a small vent, where a small sucking should be felt
(prefacelift only, facelift dont have this feature)
sure theres a pic somewhere....
