Hi all,
started to do my right hand side rear wheel bearing and I was not sure how to get the hub nut off as it should be bl...y tight, but it opened really easily.
I remember someone mentioned it needs to be torqued up with 320lb/ft.
It was possible to feel a wobble at the wheel moving it from side to side.
I now wonder if the nut wasn't tight enough or if it loosened somehow and the wheel bearing wasn't/isn't finished.
Any one got an idea?
Cheers

Just changed both bearings one wheel had a slight play bit no noise and the noisy one had no play
If thay make no noise i get new nuts and pins and torque them up and see wot happens

i have changed several rear wheel brgs,if you have a tiny amount of slop its more likely to be the fit off the brg in the housing itself.torque the main nut up to spec, that is all you can do.(you could apply 1000 ft/lb to it and it will NOT make any difference) :y
