Title: Juddering when moving off
Post by: Gaffers on 11 May 2011, 21:30:31
Seems a bit intermittent, worse when the car has been standing and the worst when cold.

When I pull away at anything above Miss Daisy speed I get a juddering like the GB was slipping.  Doesnt happen all the time.  It has been happening since I topped up the ATF.

Any ideas?

Might it be worth fully servicing the ATF? They can give a slight judder/start of a slip as the miles rack up.

It's not the coil pack either, had that before.  It's defo something to do with the GB/diff

Hi, Guffer, I had exactly the same thing on mine.
When the engine was cold or trying to pull away
faster than Miss Daisy, it juddered and tried to stall.
No codes or warning lights.

Same as Henryd suggested, mine was ignition. The
no.2 ignition lead was breaking down. When cruising
all was ok, but when the mixture was richened, ie
when cold or accelerating, the spark wasn't strong
enough to ignite the richer mixture and the engine
juddered.
