Usually it's the one on the fuel pump that causes problems...

had car to local vauxhall dealers they say i need new ecu and immobiliser car runs in limp mode.has anyone used the ecu doctor?

Do you have a Engine Management Light on? If not does the light work ie light when you first turn the ign on.

Ask them for a print out of the fault codes that led them to that conclusion.

vauxhall checked all wiring engine management light works but not on constant ecu will not connect to diagnostic computers

I very much doubt it is the ECU. *VERY* much doubt.

Vauxhall dealers don't use the brightest sparks in the fire, if you catch my drift - they can't at the money they pay them ;)


Updating your location may help, somebody nearby might be able to diagnose better than the dealer ;)

took ecu off car and sent it to ecu doctor let you know what happens when i get it back
