Title: Car pass/CD changer code
Post by: SMD on 16 May 2011, 00:00:54
I need to change my battery in the next few days and just had a look at the car pass for the radio code. Is the radio code 4 digits? My car pass isnt showing a code for the CD changer. Is this required?

Car is a 2001 3.2 Elite / 2013

I have a 2013 in my 2000 F/L elite. .I asked same question back on 26th feb. You can disconnect battery on face lift models without any problems to the radio/CD.

check my post from 26th Feb in electrical/audio section  for confirmation :y :y :   It's on page 11 at the moment. sorry I can,t link you to it -- PC useless me :-[ :-[

The NCDC2013 doesn't have a 'code' like traditional units, instead its security is based around the fact it is married to the display, CD Changer (and telematics, if appropriate).
