Title: pixalated display

The display on the computer next to the dash has gone all pixalated. I'm guessing ill need a new one are they all different?
Also the CHECK light is lit up?

The early ones such as yours arnt very reliable :(  and are incompatible with the newer, better ones.

They are repairable

one thing i forgot to add mine is the elite and it has 3 sections not one or 2 like some of them?

A pig to repair MIDs.

I think I'd be looking at retrofitting the newer, single grey plug model, as your chances of finding a good, early, twin plug one are next to zero.

I gathered :( i assume mine will have all the avg mpg and things on the other screen?

Newer style mid has all same functions, plus 2 extra (trip distance and trip gallons).

Its likely a newer style one will need proper configuration with Tech2.

It will lso need so rewireing behind display

any piccy of newer style mid ?

I also plan to change mine  :-/

ps: their repairs dont last long.. I bough a brand new one and it started again especially in winter..

Now its doesn't even come on at all hahaha just blank  :(
