Title: Strange Beep Noise
Post by: Radar on 23 May 2011, 11:34:59
I've just bought another omega yesterday and whilst driving at about 35mph i heard 4 or 5 short high pitched beeps (like when a lorry reverses). It seemed to be coming from the back of the vehicle. I was thinking possibly the power sounder batteries? It's only happened the once and Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

It seemed to come from the rear - no one was reversing - SWMBO was following about 50 yards behind :-/

Some aftermarket reversing sensors are fitted to the car. There are just 2 sensors which sit underneath the rear number plate.

That would be a useful feature :y. I believe they only came as standard on elite models on the continent!

That could be the cause of the problem but someone with more knowledge will be along I'm sure.
