After I sort out the engine and bodywork of my ex-plod special, I'm thinking of fitting a set of aftermarket alloys. I'm not going to go mad, probably 17" or so. I like a bit of profile for ride comfort. So does anybody know the PCD and offset of Omega wheels, please? Sorry if this is mentioned somewhere else.

Don't know the offset but have you thought about fitting a set of original MV6 alloys??
Nice looking wheels. IMHO.

Hi
PCD is 5 * 110
ps:As its not easy to find nice models with 5 *110 the sales person can offer different sizes like 5 * 112 (like they did to me) but will be problem after as its not a correct fit.

5x110, ET 35-45

Hi 6CM
look out for wheels with a PCD of 5 x 110 and any ET ( offset ) between 35 to 40 if you want to keep it near to stock. The wheels on your car at present have an ET of 39 ( you'll find it stamped on the inside face of the hub.)
Just make sure the PCD is 110 because Ford @ 108 and Merc @ 112 are mighty difficult to differentiate from 110 and theyy won't seat properly.
You can of course go for a lower ET but going higher will cause the tyre to rub on the strut at the front. If you do find a good set though at a higher ET you can fit good quality hubcentric spacers .
Look on E bay and if your quick there is a set of Azev's ( from a Saab which is same PCD but higher ET ) but failing that you'll pick up a set easily.
I picked up a set off e bay UK.
Shipping from UK mainland is easy , cost me £55 for four wheels and tyres.
If I can help anymore PM me . :y
Cheers
Don

Whoaaa. hold off on those Azev's on E bay.
They are off the 9000 model from 1993 which has a PCD of 108mm.
Won't fit.

Thanks for the advice fellas. I'm a sucker for the "stock but tastefully modified look" so a set of MV6 alloys it is, then.
Cheers,

I guess you want to do this as cheaply as possible so this post probably wont help... but I love the early facelift alloys fitted to my Elite. They are 17" and I recently had to buy a replacement which set me back about £130 inc VAT from Vauxhall. I reckon with a trade club card you could get this below £100. ok still expensive but at lest you know they will fit!

Is there anyway (without serious work) to get these alloys to fit on an omega facelift:
http://www.borbet.co.uk/alloywheels/borbeta.php
5x112 (may need to use variable bolts),
Offest - 15
Rim Width - 9J
-
I'd say no - not without a lot of work.
You'd have to use wobble bolts with that PCD and as has already been mentioned in this thread, the offset would cause a fair bit of rubbing.
Do you know the Centre bore for this wheel?
Do you know if Borbet would make you the wheel with Omega dimensions if you asked them?

I've sent them an email to ask if they would.
I'll update the post if i get a reply.

Keep looking on Ebay...search under "Vauxhall Alloys".
Alloys for some of the Vectras fit the Omega and in my opinion look pretty good.
I know I keep going on about it, for which I apologise but look at the attached. Tis my Elite with Vectra C alloys, straight swap over...£160.00 off ebay last December....PLUS rightly or wrongly, fitted with the 235/17/45's

They are lovely looking wheels - I put some on my car.
Trouble is they made them from plasticine - such a shame............. :(
