Title: Sill cover (sideskirt ) plastic rivets.

Does anybody know the size of the plastic rivets that hold the bottom of the sill cover on & the ones on the end cap, Somehow i cant see a way of saving my old ones as the centre pin has to be knocked through.,,,,cheers. :y

Not sure what these plastic rivets are like, but on my old zx636 motorbike, I had plastic rivets that if you push the centre pin, it pops out and you retract the rivet.
I take it these are not similar?

The ones that hold the bottom of the skirt are not rivets they're a disk that clip over the  pins/rivets attached to the sill. The rivets that hold the end caps on are around 6mm. Both are available from dealer and aren't that much. If needed I have the part nos somewhere.

Cheers Lee, I must admit i hadnt looked at the bottom fixings & assumed they would be like the ones with the plastic pin in, as my vx dealership are pretty naff i`ll get the endcap ones of fleabay,,,cheers :y,,,,oh is that 6mm hole size or head size?.

It's 6mm hole size and 10mm head size.
