Title: How to take off door lock pins

Hello, I'm going to hopefully fix the rattling pins by wrapping them in tape. How do I get them off - just pull? Or do I have to take the door card off?

Does anyone think the richbrook/irmscher style ones will stop the noise? I think they should as it would be metal on plastic, not plastic on plastic.

Door card off and then they unscrew.

red tab in centre of pin just prise out  about halfway  tab just then lifts off  i used electrician screwdriver but be carefull it does not slip and scratch pin tab

Memory reboot....

You need to prise out the little red collar, revealed when the door is unlocked, then they just pull upwards to remove.

Thanks people! I can't be bothered taking the door card off again! :y
