Well after all your help and advice I have determined that the drivers side head gasket has gone. She wouldn't run properly even after changing coil pack so decided to strip her down and do some more checks.
On stripping I found the rear drivers side cylinder full of water so she's a gonna. Due to having my 2.6 almost completed, I've decided I'm not going to repair her and have been convinced by a neighbor to break her. So yet another old girl is off to the
Breaker yard in the sky. I will list what I have taken off later in the parts section as per the rules.
However you not getting rid of me altogether as I will be mobile with my 2.6 as soon as possible.
