Hi, has any one got recommendations for decent polish for minor scratches, always used T Cut, is there any other product thats better than T Cut, (metallic finish). Thanks everyone.

On impulse, I bought this JML product in Homebase some time ago and used it just a couple of days ago. I must say that I was mightily impressed, which is unusual as I often get suckered into buying useless things! ;) :-[ ;D

Thanks, had a look at web site, must say there is a good choice on there, I wondered if that Mantis was any good, again some good reviews as well, thanks for the reply's so far.

I generally find rather than T-Cutting a good quality polish such as super resin polish by autoglym and plenty of elbow grease does the job very well. for a good finish i use carlinite marque de elegance wax. :y

Autoglym srp, or meguires equivalent. For more stubborn minor scratches try Meguires scratch X2.0.
Leave the tcut on the shelf.
See detailing world web site. There's a whole lot more to it than just polish.
Wash with two bucket method.
Dry with microfiber cloth.
Clay bar.
De wax cleaner.
THEN polish
Wax.
That should give a good finish that will just need two bucket wash and wax from there on.
As Ianu on here advised recently basically. :y

Could have sworn the de-wax stuff came before the clay bar. Maybe I'm mistaken. :-/
No, not go my mind. Clay bar removes sticky impurities in the paint that when rubbed with a cloth can come free and cause further scratches. Don't polish the paint until it's clean. Clay bar is part of the cleaning process. Then once clean of scratchy material that can cause damage then start with the cloths and potions.
