Title: outside temperature

If the outside temperature sensor is faulty and giving a incorrect reading will this have any adverse affect on the air-conditioning and the inside temperature selected.

In a word... Yes ;) If it's Climate Control and not just basic Air Con

The Climate Panel uses the outside temperature to aid in selecting the temperature required from the vents inside :y

wot he said, plus they are only about £6 new from the dealer, and 2 mins to swap, open bonnet, they sit about centrally on the bumper.

yes definitly
i had a problem with the wiring loom and the outside temp was never showing
this affected the climate control

This forum is the best thing since tinned  beer, you post a question /problem and buy the time you have had a  cuppa or a tin or two up pops the solution /answer, once again thanks people for your knowledge and for sharing it. :y :y :y
