Title: 2.2 clutch
Post by: ninjapirate on 13 June 2011, 01:18:35
hey, yes more questions!
the amount of support you guys give is confidance building!
really need to look at the membership bit.

so anyway, its a 2001 2.2, 80k miles.
the clutch bites pretty high, doesnt slip, i dont feel any judder when i change gear, but with my long legs even with seat righ back its a bit of a arse lol
its hydrolic? (i should of checked the actual pedal height 1st)
can it be adjusted? is this still a sign im going to need a new clutch soon?
and if so, whats teh general cost to replace? i do know a decent mr clutch (i know thats rare).

Im thinking it was a old guy last owner, and with a tow bar. could be the original clutch so 80k replacment?

anyway, thanks for any input!!

Clutch - certainly worth bleeding it through as a starter for 10. Not something I've ever really looked at, seeing as I hate the Omega manual gearbox with a passion, so all 5 Omegas I've owned have been autos ;D

i like the price free! lol
most big cars ive had were autos. the last omega was also, it does feel a bit strange driving a manual one, but kinda nice aswell. i need to double check, but in the back of the service manual where its got the stamps for when brake fluid is replaced i think its clutch fluid aswell which was done recently, will have a looksy maybe needs doing again.
