Title: Oil at top of thermostat
Post by: Shelby on 18 June 2011, 11:15:59
Hi,

Been having a look at a few things today and noticed that I have a bit of oil at the top of the thermostat housing.  Thermostat was replaced about 1-2 months ago when I had the broken manifold studs sorted and was all cleaned at the time.

I would suspect a leaking rocker cover gasket but don't know for sure so just asking for a bit of advice from those far more experienced than I am.  It's only a small amount of oil and not showing signs of excessive running down the side of the engine, just a bit sitting around the top of the thermostat housing.

Any info appreciated.
