Title: Lambda sensor

does anyone know how to definately diagnose a faulty Lambda without buying the new one first , Car running rich and reluctant to hold cruising speed so pretty certain its this ,

any help appreciated

checked for codes i take it? by Pedal trick or code reader?

More than that, one of the tech2 gUys on here will no douBt.

WooWah test might help, try holding the revs at a steady 2k, if the revs rise and fall (hence the woowah) then it`s a sign the the lambda is goosed. Not definitive but it can point you in the right direction, also fuel economy might be slightly worse than normal.
