Hi all, would 3.0 heads fit onto my y32se engine? im guessing their the same heads but different part numbers (3.0 heads had 4x different part numbers over the years anyway..
i have a set of new/recon 3.0 heads here that im going to port/polish which im going to run 4x g cams in. i hope they are the same if not it may rise compression from 10.1 to about 11.0 ish if they are different? would this be a bad thing if im keeping the engine N/A? Will the ecu handle a compression ratio so high? Car is a 3.2 running 3.0 motronic 2.8 management. Any help from the tuners/guys that love modifying/playing with stuff would be great.

Yes but, make sure they are the later type with the extra webbing between the spark plugs which has the drilled and tapped hole to secure the coil packs.

Thanks Mark, im running 3.0 management with plug leads so does that mean i can use any 3.0 heads?

just measure it ?
The general rule of thumb is that any engine mods will be incompatible with the current fuel map
