have you checked for fault codes?
papertrick test in my signature

no i have no knoledge to do so this happened approx 1 hour ago and have made it back with no probs covering 15miles thanks

Check battery terminal connections, .... known to fail, if they get too hot due to poor connections / high resistance the battery can become "disconnected" electrically. The alternator can then run very high momentarily before it controls so giving an overvoltage (wierd dash lights).
After time the systems reset everything cools down.
No promises .. but worth a look ??

Sounds like it could be a crank sensor to me, but check for engine codes first. :y

I thought that at first .. but don't see why the engine stopping and so loss of alternator power (all dash lights on) would also cause the horn to sound ???
My thoughts therefore go to loss of battery power so causing the power sounder to operate ??

Crank sensor.....read the codes

I read it that it wasn't the OP's horn but neighbouring road users. ;)

Crank sensor, needs changing ASAP before it goes terminal

It may have cleared...
it WILL be back, doing exactly the same again.
Buy and fit a new, genuine Vauxhall one.
All will be well.
