Few phonecalls and none about, so ordered off ebay :y

Set up post Polly would depend on the state of the current bushes. If fubar then yes.

I'm hoping to get a test flight drive in a polybushed car during the Lakes weekend to decide if that's the route I want to go down ::) ;)

I did wishbones and ARB on an otherwise std 9000 aero a few year back and that rocked! It just felt like new, even at 100k. Now the 9000s arnt known for their forgiving ride but this did not make it any worse, just took out play.
I am plannind to do ARB and wishbone on my mig later this month so would be interested to hear back.

I bought both the wishbone and roll bar set, they look like the ones I got, but I've only fitted the wishbones thus far. It definitely firms up the front end. ChrisG had a quick spin in it just after I fitted them. The roll bar looks like an awkward job, which I've chickened out of so far. :-[

On the TDs, I reckon that it's easiest if you (carefully) lower the sub-frame a touch.
However, my geometry is currently spot on, and I'm reluctant to disturb things - could make-up some locating dowels though, I suppose :-/

TBE will be fairly hopeless on it's current suspension I would think.
Jimbobs will be interesting if done in time.
I guess some sort of chop saw would be handy for cutting the bush outer to remove the standard ones.

My geometry was done in April
1 wishbone just showing signs of play..
But I do have uneven wear (some was caused before geometry was done though)
I hope to have them by the lakes meet, but highly unlikely to have fitted them.
Just looking at the guides etc, probably a bit awkward to do on a campsite. Shame as all new shocks / springs etc, so well setup otherwise.

Its a definate improvement. Really marked. But the old ones (horizontal and vertical, all replaced) were shot.
Now it handles like, errr, an Elite with Michelin tyres. So still shite, just not as shite as before.
Its unlikely TBE will make it go to the Lakes, although I may change me mind ::)

Its removing the old ones. If they come out easy (using the drilling/cutting method), its do-able. Otherwise, its going to be a pain.

Its removing the old ones. If they come out easy (using the drilling/cutting method), its do-able. Otherwise, its going to be a pain.
Cutting the front ones out is easy enough in theory. It's just getting access under the car. A suitable chop saw type cordless tool would be handy.

I used my Bosch alligator saw with a metal cutting blade, works well if you're careful. :y

Thanks for that idea Byron, I'll keep that in mind. I still haven't got round to changing the AR25 to AR35 on the TD, too much work on son's house, daughter's car, and golf matches to play. I think there's a theme here, but can't quite get a hold of it. :-/ :-/ :-/ :y :y :y
