Hi,
Following one from my other posts about MV6 leather seats were all the black leather seats serforated? Mine are! I didnt realise any of the Omega leathers came perforated!!
I have just seen a mini f/l on ebay that has leather and the rears are the std Elite jobs but can't tell if the fronts have perforated centres. I guess that an elite that was spec'd with sports seats also just kept the same rears.

The rears I have (estate, not going to be fitted) are perforated so I presume the saloon of this ear (very early facelift) would as well?
Anybody with black leather MV6 provide some input to what ages came with what type of finish?
Ta.

My MV6 is a 2000 reg and doesn`t have any perforations at all, I wonder if they`ve been re-covered at some point.
-
Deffo genuine due to the rears being the same and the level of finish and age related ware.
Is your 2000 model a facelift or mini f/l?
-
It`s a facelift AFAIK, not had a close look as to what constitutes a facelift or mini facelift though.

Square nose, square dash, double din radio etc...
As per the pic at the top of the screen.

Easiest way to tell if a car is facelift is the facelift has the grill as part of the bonnet. Previous models didnt. ;)

Ah mines a face lift then, but I did wonder cos mines only got the 3.0l not the 3.2l
-
early facelidts had the 3.0 and 2.5 etc for a short while before the 'final' line-up was establsihed.
-
Not sure on the other models, but the very late MV6's ie 3.2 had a different Leather (If fitted) with a very slight perferation compered to the shiney stuff fitted to early FLs.

as an aside, while looking over the seats before fitting it looks as though the front extension bolster is actually leather covered over the original fabric as I can see the blue threads along with the charcoal material at the edges. Weird
